Diametric is more or less getting ruled out unless something spectacular happens today. We are left with Extracting triangle option.  In this case Nifty Spot may do 5840-5880 around as final target for d-leg of the extracting triangle.

Nifty Future will be weak sustaining below 6048 only and Nifty Spot below 5996.  Eod close below these levels will indicate more downside.
